Our Figure Skating programs are aimed at developing the best skaters in South Florida. Offering both ISI and USFSA programs, incredible ICE provides the finest training facility for both the recreational and competitive skaters. Our top rated skating professionals will provide our members with superior coaching in our state-of-the-art facility, which includes daily sessions. Nancy Mariani: Skating Director/Assistant General Manager
Nancy is originally from Ottawa, Ontario Canada. Nancy is a “Quadruple Gold Medalist” and was a National Competitive Skater. Nancy has been with incredible ICE from the very beginning (1996), being instrumental in developing all areas of the facility. Nancy has over 27 years of teaching experience, has been the Skating Director since incredible ICE opened. Nancy is a Master Rated Instructor with the PSA and Gold Certification in ISI. Nancy is an expert with pre-school age skaters and has inspired hundreds of children to stay skating .Nancy has performed with Ice Capades and many other world class shows all over the world. Nancy has three beautiful boys Michael, Matthew and Mark.

 

Alan Towers: Group Skating Coordinator
Alan is the Group Skating Coordinator here at incredible ICE. He originates from England and represented his country internationally with his wife Lisa Bradby from 1986-1990. He was runner up in the 1990 World Professional Championships in Jaca Spain. He was also silver medalist in the 1990 British Championships. Other medals include Silver at the 1990 Skate Electric Championships in England and silver at the 1990 Nebelhorn Trophy in Germany. Alan was a principal skater with an international ice show form 1991-1995. He is a Gold Star medalist, PSA registered in freestyle and dance, certified in group and Master Sports Science. Alan is the proud parent of Grant and Jayden.

Evgueni Artemov
Evgueni is a former professional ice skater from Russia and for the past few years was working for the” Royal Caribbean International” as a principal ice skater. He has been skating for over 23 years and for 15 of those years he has been professional as well as being a principal skater in a number of professional ice shows. He has been coaching for over 5 years in Moscow’s “Sokolniky” FSC as an assistant coach of Rafael Artiunian (World & Olympic Coach) He has experience in all aspects & levels of figure skating, learn to skate, freestyle, competitive, music selection, creating & working with the programs, off ice conditioning, summer camps, choreography & shows.

 

Lisa Bradby
Lisa is from England and represented her country internationally, with her Husband Alan Towers form 1986-1990. She was runner up in the 1990 World Professional Championships in Jaca Spain. She was also silver medalist in the 1990 British championships. Other medals included silver at the 1990 Skate Electric Championships in England & silver at the 1990 Nebelhorn Trophy in Germany.  Lisa was a principal skater with an international ice show from 1991-1995. She is a Gold Star medalist and PSA certified in freestyle, registered in ice dance and has a Masters in sport Science. Lisa has been teaching at incredible ICE since January 2000 & also teaches ballet and tap. Lisa is the proud parent of Grant and Jayden.


Laura Cragg
Laura started her skating career here in South Florida when she was only 2 years old. She competed for many years as a singles and pair skater all over the US and trained with some of the best instructors. Laura is a South Atlantic Regional and Eastern Sectional Gold medalist in pairs. She has also competed in the Junior Olympics and International Challenge Cup. In 2003, Laura has completed her senior gold freestyle test and her Basic Accreditation from the PSA. Laura is a Florida Panther Ice Princess where she performs various exhibitions through out the NHL season. She is currently attending Florida Atlantic University and plans on getting her Bachelor’s in Studio Art.

 

Martine de la Torre
Martine has been working at incredible ICE since 2001 and has over 25 years of teaching experience. Her career began in New York City, where she competed and tested through the USFS levels. After turning professional, Martine toured with the renowned Holiday On Ice International Ice Review. Martine is very involved with in other aspects of the sport such as; Director of Skating School, Holiday Show coordinator, Hockey school Director with European Elite and ISI silver level Judge. Martine has a AS Degree as a Dietetic Technician. She works with athletes of all ages to educate them on the importance of nutrition and how to incorporate this into their daily lives. She is special trained for children with Special needs and is an intragal part of our Special Olympics programs. Martine is the proud mother of three children, a daughter and two sons, who are also very involved in the hockey programs at incredible ICE.


Brigitte Hoke
Brigitte is a native of Vienna Austria, starting her career at age three and she was coached by World & Olympic skater, Karl Schaefer. After competing in the Austrian & European Championships, she won the Jr. European Championship among other titles. After turning professional, Brigitte toured all over the world for 15 years with various ice shows as a principal performer. Brigitte is a Gold Medalist in Figures & Free skate, has a PSA Certified Free Style, ISI Silver Judge certified and is a fitness instructor with the American Aerobic Fitness Association. Brigitte has also studied Ballet, jazz & ballroom dancing. She is a National Level instructor & and took one of her students to the 2007 Jr. National Championships. Brigitte has been an instructor of over 25 years, is married to a professional figure skater & they have two beautiful daughters.


Ilona Melnichenko
Ilona is from Odessa Ukraine, and  has a Bachelor Degree in Physical Education from Odessa State Institute of Physical Culture. Ilona is the former Junior World Dance Champion, is a member of the former Soviet Union National Team and has competed internationally all over the world. Ilona was a principal skater for the “Russian All Stars” World tour. Ilona has been at incredible ICE for over 10 years and is certified in ballet and fitness. Ilona has her PSA Registered freestyle and dance. Ilona is married to her husband Artem and they are the proud parents of Andrew and Deanna.


Julie Mulvey
Julie has over 22 years of skating experience. She has trained with top elite Coaches at various rinks in Florida and Simsbury Connecticut. Julie has traveled throughout the US to compete and perform exhibitions. Julie has here US Senior Moves In The Field & Freestyle & has several years of dance, tap, jazz lyrical& pointe ballet. Julie continues skate in many feature NHL Panther games &  for many other events. Julie has as Associates Degree & three different certifications in childhood development. She is the proud mother of Kaitlyn & twin daughters Madison & Kennedy. They all love to skate with her here at incredible ICE.

 

 

Christie Nicks
Christie trained daily for over 8 years with Ilona Melnichenko & Artem Torgachev, beginning when incredible ICE opened over 10 years ago. She has accomplished her Senior Moves in the Field & has successfully competed at the Jr. level in US Figure Skating Competitions. Christie has been coaching for over 7 years & works with students of all ages & abilities. Many of her students have won medals in USFSA & ISI competitions. Christie is a member of the PSA, USFSA, ISI & the Panthers FSC. In May of 2006 she graduated Magna Cum Laude from FAU with a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science & a minor in Communication. While coaching figure skating she is also taking some time to pursue her interests in golf & skiing, prior to attending law school.

Artem Torgashev
Artem is from Moscow Russia, with a Bachelors Degree in Physical Education from the Moscow State Institute of Physical Culture. Artem is a member of the former Soviet Union National Team from 1984-1990 and has competed internationally all over the world. Artem was a Jr. World medalist, Skate Canada medalist, Cup of the Soviet Union winner, Russian National Champion and Russian Winter Games Winner. Artem was a principal skater for the“Russian All Stars” World tour. Artem is one of our fitness trainers here teaching weekly off-ice classes. Artem is married to his wife Ilona and they are the proud parents Andrew and Deanna. Artem has his PSA Master Freestyle, his Master Sports Science and is a National Level Instructor.
